How To Use Broken Crystals

Broken crystals are still very useful. Yes, you can still use a broken crystal and in this post I am going to explain what you can do with broken crystals to receive the most benefits.

Crystals sometimes break in nature due to pressure and other natural elements. They can also break during polishing and processing. Sometimes you just drop the crystal on the floor and it breaks as well. So what do you do if you broke your crystal?

First clean the crystal and discard any very small shards. Those can cause splinters and cut you, so be careful.

Satchel

You can place the broken crystal in a satchel, or draw string bag. You can also use a very small zip lock bag. Those are found in arts and craft sections at stores. This will keep you from losing or damaging the crystal further. The energy will still radiate out from the bag that you place the crystal in. You can hold the bag during meditation or place it in your pocket. It will still work just the same and this protects the crystal. It also protects you from getting cut by any sharp edges.

Jewelry

If the pieces are small enough, you can buy a cork top pendant. It looks like a small bottle and has a cork lid. You can open it and put things in it, then place it on a necklace to wear. You can find these at craft stores such as Hobby Lobby. They are very useful if you have small pieces of crystal that you want to keep and use.

Just place the broken pieces in the bottle pendant and secure the lid. Some people like to glue the lid on to prevent the pendant from coming apart. This is a good idea because sometimes the cork lids will pop off and your pendant will fall to the ground.

Box

You can use a small box for your broken crystals. Just place them in the box and meditate with it or use it as decoration. I actually have a pretty cool article about how to make a wish box. You can use that idea for your broken crystals. They would work perfectly.

Remember that broken crystals are just as useful as their intact counterparts. There is no reason to throw away your favorite crystal just because it broke. You can use broken crystals just like other crystals with a few adjustments.
