This is a Himalayan salt lamp. It's made of pure Himalayan salt. It is a negative ion generator. The light is adjustable and ranges from very dim to very bright. In this photo, I have it on the brightest setting. So what are the benefits of Himalayan salt lamps?

My Experience

Since I've gotten this lamp, I've kept it on the highest heat setting for most of the time. This is because I went so long without a salt lamp that I felt it had some extra work to do in the room I placed it in. Over time, I will likely change the settings around depending on how I feel. I do recommend these salt lamps to anyone who feels drawn to stones and crystals.

I have noticed a reduction of dust in the area surrounding the lamp. It doesn't work for the entire room though, mostly just the area that is right near the lamp. I do think it is beneficial for anyone who sneezes a lot due to dust.
